NJAA Stat Attack

- Mosella Farnborough Juniors are the only team to have completed the 'Treble' and won all 3 NJAA contest in one year... an achievement they repeated in 2006 and 2007!

- The most successful team in NJAA history is Warrington Anglers with 17 team wins.

- The most successful angler so far is Adam Hollis (Warrington Anglers) with 3 Individual titles.

- The title for Most Successful Defences an NJAA team trophy by a team is still held by Coventry & District, who won the first 4 years of our Junior National (1968-1971)

- The longest time any Individual trophy has remained in one club's hands is 5 years. Warrington Anglers took home the Intermediate Challenge Champion between 1995-99.

- Only 2 anglers have successfully defended an Individual title. Anthony Flint (Farnborough) in the Junior National 2006-07, and Adam Hollis (Warrington Anglers) in Intermediate Challenge 98-99.

- Gareth Jackson (Peatmoor) is the only angler to have won Individual Honours in more than one NJAA match in a single year, winning both the National on the Coventry Canal, and the Knockout on Blythe Waters in 2002.

The NJAA was originally established in 1957. There is a lot of history behind our contests, and many of the best anglers in the country began their angling careers competing at NJAA events.

Unfortunately, the Association records were lost a few years ago, and we only have detailed match results dating back to 1995. If you fished, or were involved in NJAA competitions prior to 1995, and can remember the winners, venues, or especially if you have any results or photographs, then we would like to hear from you.
